Ideal for modern working concepts and creative teams

An inspiring place for creative IT workOn the ground floor, a wide metal door provides access to stylish commercial premises, separated from the hallway by a glass front - transparent and private at the same time. With space for up to four workstations and customised built-in cupboards, this area combines elegant design with practical functionality.

A robust steel staircase leads to the first floor, which boasts an open-plan work area, modern fitted kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Here too, built-in cupboards create structure and order and ensure an aesthetic, productive working atmosphere in a loft style - ideal for creative ideas, teamwork and the development of innovative projects. These premises offer everything a dynamic IT team needs for modern working.

Bright expanse and inspiring open space

The second floor impresses with a large work area and enormous ceiling height.

Skylights and the large west-facing window front provide ideal lighting conditions, while a recessed gallery creates additional space for workstations. The second floor provides access to a spacious terrace, which is perfect for relaxed outdoor meetings and is an inviting extension of the working area.

  • Solid ash floorboards on the mezzanine and gallery levels and exposed concrete walls emphasise the architectural elegance of the room concept.
  • The studio is equipped with powder-coated aluminium windows, industrial screed and striking steel stairs.
  • Energy-efficient heating and cooling are provided by a heat pump.

Car parking spaces for deliveries and customers are available directly next to the building. Convenient parking facilities on the premises - optionally available for hire.

Materiality and design at the highest level

Particular attention was paid to the materiality of the studio. Solid ash floorboards on the gallery level harmonise perfectly with the cool exposed concrete walls and the striking steel stairs. This combination of natural and industrial elements gives the studio a distinctive identity and creates an environment that is both robust and elegant.

The studio is equipped with state-of-the-art technology: powder-coated aluminium windows, hard-wearing industrial screed and a state-of-the-art heat pump system that provides both heating and cooling. Architecture for the future - sustainable and functional, without compromising on design.

A visionary legacy: the history of the Spreehallen

The studio is part of a historical transformation that is taking place in the Spreehallen. Originally a transformer plant, the site was transformed into a creative centre thanks to the vision of musician and photographer Bryan Adams. Between 2015 and 2017, Adams commissioned the renowned architecture firm Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios to comprehensively renovate the historic Spreehalle. The aim was to preserve the industrial character of the building while creating a modern space for the creative industries.

The transformation of the Spreehallen was honoured with the Otto Borst Prize for Urban Regeneration - proof of the successful fusion of historical substance and contemporary design. At the same time, the project was nominated for the BDA Architecture Audience Award, which emphasises its influence on the Berlin architecture scene.

Today, the Spreehallen have been completed and have developed into an epicentre for creative minds. Architects, designers and visionaries work side by side in the light-flooded studios, forming a lively, dynamic community.
