Who is Arash Forotanian?

Born in Tehran, raised in the Rhineland - Arash Forotanian brings international flair paired with a cheerful Rhineland nature. His parents, Noor and Mansour, instilled him with Persian discipline and a healthy sense of humour, while his sister Ophelia taught him that you can achieve almost anything with charm and negotiating skills.

His first name "Arash" not only means "eagle", but also stands for a legendary archer in Persian mythology. And that's exactly what he is: he aims, hits - and sells. Precision and assertiveness are what characterise him.

Arash realised early on that traditional office life was not for him - too monotonous, too little action. So he took a detour into the catering and event industry, where he honed his organisational skills and knowledge of human nature. His talent for languages (German, English, Farsi, Norwegian & Swedish - and he understands Berlinese too!) is a real ace up his sleeve.

His journey took him out into the world for over eleven years, including to Oslo - where he realised: "Cold, but beautiful summers." He has lived in Berlin since 1999 and has made his home in Prenzlauer Berg. His great passion? Property, art, design and architecture - and of course the Berlin restaurant scene. He brings his penchant for good food and chic interiors not only to his leisure time, but also to his job.

Arash is not a man of empty words - but of action. His motto in life? "Everything can be changed!" and of course "Just do it!".

Arash - The neighbourhood broker!

Arash has been part of Black Label Immobilien for six months now - a path that almost came about by itself. After several intensive discussions with Achim Amann, he realised that if he really wanted to make a difference, it would be here. The team harmonises, the pace of work is right, and the mentality corresponds exactly to his standards of quality and reliability. Here, they don't just sell, they broker with real passion. Achim Amann impressed him with his deep understanding of the Berlin property market and his clear eye for opportunities - exactly the combination that Arash was looking for in order to develop further and close the best deals for his clients.

"Why a broker? Honestly? I wanted to earn money. But then I realised that real estate is much more than just commission - it's about people, emotions, negotiations and the right timing."

His colleagues? A dream team. "It's a bit like a well-organised kitchen - everyone has their own speciality, and the end result is a perfect menu." Everyone supports each other instead of seeing each other as competitors. Expertise meets humour - exactly his thing.

He is always on the hunt for the next exciting listing, the next challenge. Luxury penthouse, stylish loft flat or small student digs - the main thing is that the property tells a good story. "I don't work with everyone. If someone gets on my nerves, I don't work with them. I need customers who trust me, have clear ideas and enjoy the process. Then I really rock it with them."

Special successes? Sure, Matthias Schweighöfer has also been there. But in the end, only one thing counts: satisfied customers and a property that enriches their lives - whether as a home or as a valuable investment in the future.
