Architect Jörg Finkbeiner trained as a carpenter and studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin. Since 2006 he has been - together with his office partner - managing director of Partner and Partner Architects.

Jörg has been a Cradle to Cradle Consultant since 2011, making him one of the pioneers of the Cradle to Cradle idea in the field of architecture in Germany. Jörg was a lecturer and research assistant at TU Berlin and taught "sustainable design" at Detmold University of Applied Sciences until 2017 as part of a deputy professorship.

In December 2020, the office received the German Sustainability Award in the Design/Vision category for the concept of the two wooden high-rise buildings "WOODSCRAPER" in Wolfsburg. In addition to his work in the office, he is also a speaker at events on the following topics Cradle to Cradletimber construction and building culture nationwide.
