Timeless luxury in RIEHMERS HOFGARTEN
Symbiosis between old and new
In RIEHMERS HOFGARTEN, in the south-west of Kreuzberg, close to Viktoriapark, 250 metres from the Bergmannstraße stop and 400 metres from the Mehringdamm underground station, a special home has been restored and redesigned with great attention to detail.
From 1881 to 1899, August Riehmer fulfilled his desire for a quiet and cosy residential atmosphere in an urban environment. He built 18 five-storey residential buildings on a plot of land bordering three streets and designed an idyllic inner courtyard for recreation.
And today? In the RIEHMERS HOFGARTEN ensemble, an expert team of craftsmen has dedicated itself to the precise restoration and skilful combination of old and new. Today it is one of the 100 most important buildings in Berlin.
